About Lyle

In 1982, I hired a piano technician to tune a church piano. It was my first experience being around a piano tech, and this gentleman was gracious enough to share years of wisdom, expertise, and plenty of useful information. He also tested me to see if I had the "ears" for the craft and I was hooked. I immediately started learning everything I could and began tuning practice on my own piano. I immedately began to study and practice, and was the beneficiary of some wonderful mentors in the field of piano technology.

My piano career has taken me all over the country. Although I've managed large piano dealerships, I have remained a piano technician with a deep appreciation for the piano. Over the last 20 plus years, my clients have included some of the largest piano dealers in the country, recording studios, universities, piano teachers, professional musicians, churches and more home and stage pianos than I can remember. I've also worked as a warranty technician for most of the biggest brands of pianos. I do servicing on all brands and styles.

I'm one of the few piano technicians today who can "tune by ear". Whether your piano needs a simple tuning, or more extensive attention, I'm happy to work with you and your instrument to make music more enjoyable.
